Nothing is more enjoyable than having a BBQ with family and friends during summer weekends. You need the right grill to make this happen. There are three basic types of grills: electric, charcoal, or gas barbecue grills. Let’s find out what each type is so you can choose the right one for you. You can see GrillsAdvisor for more information.
Electric
You don’t have to use a charcoal or gas barbecue if you are hesitant. It’s safer, easier, and quicker to use. The grate captures the juices during barbecue. This type of grill is also faster and can be used to cook quickly. A downside to an electric grill is the inability to replicate or match the flavors of a gas or charcoal-grill. To operate, they need to be plugged in to a power source. They cannot also be moved to a place where you are able to cook.
Charcoal
This is not only the best method for barbecuing, but it also costs the least. You only need starter and charcoal to start the fire. This method is time-consuming as you must watch the food carefully to ensure it doesn’t burn. It’s great for parties where you are relaxed and have lots of time to tend the grill and people. The smoke gives the meat a juicy, smoked flavor. However, it can make things messy. Children under 3 years old should be watched to ensure they don’t get burned.
Gas
This grill is simpler to use than the two other BBQ grills. It can produce high heat immediately and reduce cooking time naturally. The gas grill also ensures that food is evenly cooked. A gas grill is made specifically to use bottle propane. Refilling the bottles can be expensive. It is possible to use gas supplied by your provider. The grill won’t give you the smoky flavors you desire. This grill is not cheap, but it’s a good option if you want to grill fast.
